TERms Of shipping

1. Service Agreement We agree to ship vehicles as specified in the provided quotation around the requested dates. We may appoint a reliable carrier/agent to fulfil this agreement’s terms and conditions. Car Moves or its agents cannot guarantee exact pickup or delivery dates. 

2. Order Submission By submitting your order online, by fax, or by email, you accept the terms and conditions set forth herein and on Car Moves’ website.

 3. Payment Terms All vehicles must be paid in full upon receipt of the order to secure a spot on the designated carrier. All invoices are subject to base quote, destination province tax rate, fuel surcharge and additional pickup or drop off charges if required. Specific payment methods may be required for any balance due upon delivery. Non-payment or shipper unavailability may result in the vehicle being taken to a nearby terminal, with applicable storage $50/day per vehicle and/or redelivery fees. 

4. Inoperable Vehicles Additional fees and assistance may be required for loading and unloading inoperable vehicles.

 5. Shipper Conduct Car Moves reserves the right to cancel any shipment due to inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour towards its employees. Cancellations under these circumstances may lead to the vehicle being taken to a nearby terminal at the shipper’s expense. 

6. Limitation of Liability Car Moves or its agents are not responsible for vandalism, acts of God, or objects flying from the road during transport. Shippers are encouraged to maintain their insurance for these reasons. 

7. Vehicle Preparation Shippers are responsible for preparing vehicles for transport. Secure or remove loose parts and accessories. Car Moves is not liable for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle. Customer hereby authorises Car Moves to transport their vehicles to and from the above details provided. 

8. By submitting the online work order form customer is automatically agreeing to these terms and conditions and thereby authorizes Car Moves to transport their vehicle(s) with given information. Work order is a form of contract for transportation.
